Paralegal Amie B. Sweeney

Amie is a lifelong resident of Cortland and Tompkins counties. She earned her associate's degree in applied science with a focus on paralegal studies from Tompkins Cortland Community College in 1998 and has since worked for several Ithaca attorneys and for the New York State Capital Defender's Office.

Amie is the primary paralegal working on adoptions (foreign and domestic, private and agency, including through the Department of Social Services) and wills and estates. She is also experienced in the areas of real estate purchases and sales, divorce, and family law.
