David Makoto ParksDavid obtained an undergraduate degree in English from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1992 and his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1996. After law school, he worked for the Social Security Administration, as an assistant public defender, as an assistant district attorney, and in private practice before joining the firm in 2007.

David’s main areas of practice with the firm include civil and criminal litigation, real estate, real estate-related litigation, criminal and family court appeals. He is a member of the New York State and Tompkins County Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice in New York State courts and in the Western District of New York (federal court). He currently represents Bank of America in residential real estate closings, and also represents or has represented Wells Fargo Bank, Countrywide Financial, M&T Mortgage, Cendent Mortgage, HomeComings Financial, Absolute Mortgage, GMAC Mortgage, and various other mortgage brokerage companies and direct lenders.
