Represents personal injury victims in obtaining successful awards or settlements.  Focused on motor vehicle and slip-and-fall litigation and enhancing the value of clients’ cases by obtaining the necessary expert witnesses.  

Practices in motion, hearing and trial representation, in both civil and criminal litigation in state and federal court (Western and Northern District of New York).  Specializes in motion practice regarding destruction of evidence.

Represents students in secondary and university disciplinary proceedings.  In a defense administrative capacity, overturned a Cornell University student’s expulsion post-hearing after two appeals, obtaining a reversal of the student’s expulsion from the Cornell University President. Jake has also represented clients in obtaining favorable decisions at Superintendent's Hearings at local school districts.
