Municipal law includes an understanding of zoning, land use planning, historic preservation, environmental review, and the operation of government.

Partner Ray Schlather was a member of the Common Council of the City of Ithaca for eight years and a member of the city's Board of Public Works for six years, and has served on several municipal committees, commissions, and other initiatives over the years.
